Currently, my primary and daily responsibilities  with various organizations include

 

ü  Hands on management of an Dynamic and evolving  Windows Active Directory multi domain network ü  Active directory and Group Policy configuration to provide effective user management and controls

ü  Implement IT organization 5S and ITIL plan

ü  Setup / Manage Open Source Company Help Desk  in accordance with ITIL standards

ü  Administer company wide network Access Control List(ACL) and audit logs to ensure only authorized credentials pass controls

ü  Administer Anti Virus and Spyware Controls  to ensure users receive highest level of service

ü  Ensure all Workstations and Servers are fully patched and hardened using Windows Server Update Services

ü  Network Security and Compliance to ensure network resources are used in accordance with Company Policy

ü  Map and Diagram Network resources using Microsoft Baseline Analyzers and Visio. 

ü  Manage Company compliance and IT assets controls using ITIL standards

ü  Manage and Troubleshoot network performance using open source tools

ü  User/Client Software/Hardware training and education

ü  User and Client troubleshooting as needed

ü  Hardware/Software Troubleshooting.(including Motherboards, Power supplies, cables  and  MS Office apps)

ü  Participate in IT security Forums, Seminars and Educational opportunities

ü  Administer Backups, ensure integrity of recovery operations and off-site backups

ü  Assist all other IT personnel as needed

 

I serve as a  Senior Network and Systems Administrator as well as Network manager and also I manage an ITIL compliant Help DeskSystem.  Often  I am the primary  support person in my current  IT network environment. Most of my  networks consists of about 60 users and 5 -10 servers in a Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory Multi Domain environment.  My current skill set is primarily in the Microsoft environment, with a mix of Linux(Fedora core/Ubuntu) servers and MAC workstations.  On a daily basis, I support and troubleshoot all of the following- Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Windows2003 Server in an AD multi domain environment, the whole array of MS office products 2003 and 2007 to include Visio and Sharepoint services.  I have extensive experience in Exchange2003/2007 and SQL 2005 with Reporting services.   I have over ten solid years of progressive experience in Computers, Networks and I.T systems.   Let me know if you think I could help You!
